What We Did
For Va. Beach 1st Church of the Nazarene
We developed this web presence around our Religion Template, a column and
header guide that still allows for great flexibility in navigation and size
of the site. To keep costs to a minimum and better control the content, the
church's web-site committee wrote the text. We did some minor editing to
fit it to the pages and to better position keywords for search engine
optimization.

can watch the site come together page by page. This is currently a work in
progress. The church's members are busy snapping pictures with their digital
camera to support the effort.

Virginia Beach First Church of the Nazarene has a beautiful building and
grounds in the Bayside area on the outskirts of Old Donation Manor and a
stone's throw from the historic
Lynnhaven House.

Our challenge in developing a site for them was to capture the beauty of
their building, grounds and surroundings but keep the site people and fellowship
oriented. This church is far more than just a beautiful building, and we
wanted to make sure that the human side of the organization showed through
in their web presence.
We worked with the church's Web-Site Committee to channel
their enthusiasm for evangelism and an outreach for new members. We counseled
them that most users of good church webs are existing members of the church,
and encouraged them to include a current activities calendar and content
that would be useful to existing members. Take a look at the

how you think we did in achieving these design objectives.
